This is a fairly popular question for traders wishing to switch from conventional the PC, running Windows on a MAC from Apple. And given that I'm working on such a computer, I just had a lot of worried and "work hard" to find a more or less acceptable way to operate the trading terminal.
Installation of MetaTrader 4 and work on virtual machines: VirtualBox, Parallel Desktop (pros and cons)
On the MAC, I have been working since 2011 and initially focused on the virtual machine to install windose and the reasons for this were several:
1) Koordinalno important applications for me has been and remains at this moment: Webmoney Keeper and different MT4 brokers, so I had no problems with the installation, operation, construction and m.
2) Was the habit of working on windose applications, and somehow it was initially difficult to abandon them immediately, without finding a worthy replacement.
3) Special CrossOver program (replacing windose) did not seem to me quite a good substitute at that time (2011).
As a result, I was working on VirtualBox for some time, and realized that he was very annoying my computer powerful enough at that time (i7 + 8 GB of RAM for 2011) and moved to Parallel Desktop, and more than 3 years working on it (I still suit).
But lately I've noticed that it is very annoying me: slow, long time to boot, hang, produces errors, and so. Although windose was licensed - 8 Single, Parallel Desktop as the purchase and continually updated. As a result, spending 1-2 hours on the persistent problems every day, I decided that I've had enough:
"It is time to change to a more powerful computer!" I decided, but the price was not too small, and I keep an eye iMAC option for $ 5,000. But on balance, and a little "podostyv" I realized that the problem is not in the computer, namely + y windose its virtualization (they slow down and ship computer), without the virtual machines are still works fairly quickly and smartly!
Parallel Desktop Alternative - VM Fusion:
He began to look for a replacement, and was almost ready to deliver analogue Parallel Desktop, but guests more advanced and less MAC «gruzyaschy» - Fusion + Windows 7 virtual machine (which also had to buy as is not pleased with the 8-ka me and given that I downloaded it as a test (and later bought a license), then it could not in any way transferred to another computer or another virtual machine.
An alternative to all virtual machines - CrossOver:
But then I remembered my experience with CrossOver, and decided to try again! In the end, it turned out it already has the support of MetaTrader 4 trading terminal and even MT5 (!!!), everything works fine, the only problem - the fonts are not very good quality, but given that this program I mostly paint, and do not read or write something, then I'm not upset at all.
Install the trial version the CrossOver, I tested and realized that this is exactly what I need!
MT4 Terminals Now Russified, installation is simple, the computer does not continuously loaded, do not need any antivirus pay, constant updates windose, reboot, long loading and unloading of the virtual machine is not locked up.
That's how I solved this problem, and to all those who have it, I recommend it is this decision, it is my view optimally. CrossOver + MetaTrader 4 / MetaTrader 5 fully compatible and a couple of months problems in the work I was not revealed, everything works as it is necessary (as usual windose)!

A second problem with Webmoney I decided even simpler set directly on the MAC Webmoney Keeper software for MAC and is very pleased with it (no longer need to download windose, to use it). But after the installation is necessary on the site WebMoney course attach purses already available to you and establish a power of attorney on the keeper, as well as to expand the limits to the desired level.
