This article will consider the possibility to establish trading Metatrader 4 terminal for Computer brand Apple: MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Pro, iMac, Mac mini, and others. In this case it is not so much about the computer model, how many of the devices that run on the operating system OS X (Snow Leopard, Leopard, Lion). As I wrote earlier, I not so long ago became the owner of the brand tablet, and felt all the advantages, decided to buy a laptop will be from the same manufacturer.
As a rule, bought the laptop suits me in all respects up to 3 years - then it starts to slow down, outdated and I start to think about buying a new, powerful and modern devices. Here and now is the time of the update, so purchased the MacBook Pro with a 17-inch screen and a processor i7.
In the first place, after the purchase of a laptop, I started to deal with the unknown for me and a completely new OS X Snow Leopard operating system. Given that the laptop was bought for work, I immediately tried to install it Forex Terminal Metatrader 4. There is the possibility of using Web-platform for the trading account, but be that as it may, it is not Metatrader 4, familiar and intuitive to operate. So for me, setting it on MetaTrader 4 Apple MacBook has become a pressing issue. As the best solution I've found two options:
1. Installation of MetaTrader 4 terminal with a Windows emulator (CrossOver software, priced $ 70, there is a possibility of free testing for one month).
2. Create a virtual machine on a computer using free software VirtualBox, installation in a virtual shell operating system Windows 7. Then all the action as usual - default setting terminal Metatrader 4. I use free software, according to rumors, the program is not working as efficiently as Parallels Desktop, but when you add 4 GB of RAM on MacBook I do not see any difference in the quality of work.
There is a third option - to create a partition for the Windows operating system on the hard drive using Boot Camp program (standard program for X Snow Leopard operating system). In this case, simply choose to download, where you work - in OS X or in Windows. But this option is not very acceptable to me, as in this case, have to constantly restart the computer to start the virtual winwods for MetaTrader 4libo work exclusively on Windows. 2. Download the program MetaTrader 4, which any Forex broker offers download.
3. Run the downloaded file to install mt4setup.exe (common procedure in Windows), and then the program prompts CrossOver to run with it to install the application.

Despite the many benefits of installing MT4 with this program, there are some downsides to this decision:
- No terminal folders into which you can install additional forex strategy advisors, indicators and so on in the OS X operating system .;
- The terminal operates in English only, as vindous incompatible fonts.
I absolutely similar restrictions are not confused as to perform forex analysis, I use the standard tools of the terminal, and the need for normal operation and installation advisors, I have no indicators.
The second method is to install Windows Metatrader 4 terminal virtual environment:
1. You need to download and install VirtualBox software (a free program, you can also use Parallel Desktop) as a standard Apple applications (follow the prompts).
2. Next you need to run the program VirtualBox.
3. Install in The Windows operating system virtual environment (Vista, XP, 7), and following the prompts.
4. Once Windows is installed, you need to download the MT4 trading terminal, install it in the normal way.
5. As soon as there is a need to use the terminal, simply run the VirtualBox, press start and then start up Windows, in which you need to run a standard terminal and start working.
Forex trading terminal for ipad works the same way as in normal mode on Windows, there is absolutely no difference, it is possible to install all the custom indicators, Forex Advisors, you can choose any language (including Russian). The only inconvenience is that to work you need to download VirtualBox or keep constantly on, and in the case of low-power computers it can be loaded.
